Developed by Broderbund Software, Kid Pix Deluxe 3 is a massive update to the series, making this installment almost unrecognizable from the older versions. The game also features dozens of new tools including the ability to select a premade background from a large library, use static and animated clip arts from the library, sound tools, play buttons to animate clip arts, and text voice-over by a selected voice.

How to Install Kid Pix Deluxe 3 on Windows 10/11

1. Download the ISO Version from this page and unzip the file to any folder.
2. Download and install WinCDEmu or other similar apps that allow virtual drive mounting.
3. Run WinCDEmu-4.1.exe, and mount Kid Pix Deluxe 3 (Broderbund) (2000).iso using a new virtual CD drive.
4. Open the virtual drive named Kpd3_cd and open the "Install" folder.
5. Install the game using Setup32.exe and follow the installation procedure. Choose "Full Installation" to install all the files.
6. When prompted to install the necessary files, click "Yes" to install.
7. Once the game is installed, head over to the game's folder (where you installed it).
8. Right-click KPD3.exe to open the properties.
9. Head over to the "Compatibility" Tab. Under "Compatibility Mode", check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and set it to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)".
10. Hit "Appy" then "Ok" to save the properties and close the properties window.
11. Now you can open KPD3.exe to play the game.
