Raptor: Call of the Shadows is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up video game developed by Cygnus Studios and published by Apogee Software. Released in 1994 for MS-DOS, it was later ported to other platforms, including Windows, Linux, iOS, and Mac OS.​ The game features smooth VGA graphics with diverse environments, from coastal areas to space stations. The Mission: Dominate the Skies

Gameplay Mechanics

• Three Sectors: The game is divided into Bravo Sector, Tango Sector, and Outer Regions, each containing nine waves, totaling 27 levels.​
• Weaponry: Players can upgrade their jet with various weapons, including auto-tracking turrets and powerful lasers.​
• Shields and Armor: The Raptor jet is equipped with regenerative shields and can be further fortified with phase shields for added protection.
• Economy System: Destroying enemies earns credits, which can be used to purchase weapons and upgrades.
