Previously known as WWI: Source, Screaming Steel: 1914-1918 is a total conversion project for the popular WWII game Day of Infamy. Developed by a group of devoted modders, the project is designed to give the players a convincing historical shooter experience. The project uses the core gameplay of the vanilla game but with lots of unique twists due to the difference in technology between the two periods (WWI-WWII). This project focuses on the Western Front of World War I and features multiple scenarios based on real battles fought during the war.

How to Install and Play Screaming Steel: 1914-1918 on Windows 10/11

This total conversion mod requires the base game Day of Infamy. If in Steam, the easiest way to install the mod is to head over to their workshop page and subscribe to the project. This will automatically download all the required files. For a non-Steam game, download the Full Installer on this page, and follow the installation procedure.
