Sonic 2011, also known as Sonic.exe Official Game, is less of a platformer game and more of a walking simulator based on the creepypasta Sonic.exe, which is also based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Developed by GammaEpsilon, the game features updated assets with clean and smooth sprites that are nice to look at. Unlike other Sonic.exe recreations, Sonic 11 is faithful to the original creepypasta and does not contain any added stories, levels, scenes, and is accurate to the original.

Keep in mind that this is not a Sonic clone or a platformer game. This game features many jump scares and disturbing scenes, including death and mutilation of popular Sonic characters. The game's main antagonist is Sonic.exe (also known as "X" or "exe" for short) who is an eldritch entity in the form of the popular character Sonic the Hedgehog.

Creepypasta Story

The original creepypasta story involves the distribution of a haunted game disc that contains the "sonic.exe" game file. The game starts of like the original Sonic the Hedgehog game but with three characters (besides Sonic) to choose from. The game will later turn nightmarish and will showcase the creepy Exe killing the main Sonic franchise characters and eventually leading him to rip out the soul of his victim and making them his slave after playfully torturing them.
