Star Wars Galaxies - An Empire Divided is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game for Microsoft Windows. Developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, it is an official game themed after the popular Star Wars franchise. Although the official servers closed in December 2011, there are several private emulator projects in existence that kept the game alive.

The game features eight races including Wookies, Bothans, and Mon Calamari, as well as many professions that the players can start with. Every aspect of your character's appearance can be altered and you can grow your character's skills and statistics to better fair the wide galaxy. Unlike many MMOs, character progression is different as there are no "levels", instead there are proficiencies. You can learn many skills simultaneously, or you can master one and become specialized.

The download contains the ISO version of the game. But you can not play the game offline or in single-player, and the official server has long been shut down. You must download a third-party launcher, and play the game on one of the few dedicated private servers available.

How to Install Star Wars Galaxies - An Empire Divided on Windows 10/11

• Download the ISO Version of the game from this page and unzip the file to an empty folder.
• Download and install WinCDEmu or other similar apps that allow virtual drive mounting
• Run WinCDEmu-4.1.exe, and mount the SWG_Disc_1.iso using a new virtual CD drive.
• Open the virtual drive and use the AutoRun or open Setup.exe to install the game client normally.
• Eventually, the installer will ask you to insert disc two and then disc three. Create the virtual drives on the two other ISO files. (SWG_Disc_2.iso and SWG_Disc_3.iso).
• When the client is successfully installed, do not run the game with the launcher that comes with the ISO. Since the original SWG game no longer exists, there is no need to start the SWG game client when the installation process is finished.
