The Simpsons: Hit & Run

Mysterious vans have been sighted, creepy crop circles are appearing, and other bizarre incidents are brewing in Springfield. Follow the wacky family as they witness this many strange phenomena in The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Released by the end of 2003, The Simpsons: Hit & Run is an action-packed adventure and racing game with many similarities to the popular GTA games. Based on the American animated sitcom The Simpsons, this game is the twenty-second installment of the video game franchise.

In this game, Springfield city is experiencing lots of strange incidents and changes including a soft drink that can cause insanity. Greatly disturbed by these events, the Simpsons family took matters into their hands. The game rotates around the family members as they discover numerous shocking secrets and later discover that all incidents are part of a larger alien conspiracy.

Gameplay mostly focuses on exploration and doing many missions (most of which are races). The game also features a lot of RPG elements including explorable worlds and side quests with appropriate rewards. Many would agree that The Simpsons: Hit & Run is one of the best titles of the Simpsons franchise.

Note: The v1.0 download contains the pre-installed game files so you don't need to mess around with installing multiple discs. However, if you still get the "Wrong disc inserted" error, you can download the No CD Patch and drag its contents to the installation folder - overwriting the existing Simpsons.exe file.
