The Neverhood is a 1996 point-and-click adventure video game that emphasizes solving puzzles through a series of actions rather than what's inside the player's inventory. The player must use the available environment to advance in the game. If the player isn't careful enough, it is possible to get hard-locked or get a game over. In this case, the player must load from a previous save or restart. The game also features two different endings depending on the choices the players over the crown to revive Hoborg.

How to Play The Neverhood on Windows 10/11

The Neverhood requires Windows 95 to work. However, you can use ScummVM to simulate the old operating system and play the game.

1. Download the ISO Version of the game on this page, and extract the zip file to any folder.
2. Download and install WinCDEmu.
3. Mount Neverhood.iso to a virtual drive using WinCDEmu.
4. Copy all files from the CD image into your local folder.
5. Download and install ScummVM.
6. Open Scumm VM and add the game by opening the directory of the "DATA" folder inside Neverhood's game folder.
7. Check "Full Screen" and "Correct Aspect Ratio" to play the game.
8. Optionally, you can also check "Filter" to remove some of the pixels of the game and make it look better.
