Although EA Sports is known to have a series of good sports games, FIFA 98 was known to deliver more than any of the previous titles. The game is known to have just the right pace of the game which improves the overall gameplay and immersion.  Additionally, the game features deeper team and player customization options, 16 unique stadiums, improved AI, an official soundtrack, and the titular "Road to World Cup" mode which showcases over 170 FIFA-registered national teams. FIFA 98 was also the first FIFA game to properly implement the offside rule - which was among the many strong selling points of the game.

How to Install and Play FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 on Windows 10/11

FIFA 98: Road to World Cup is a bit problematic to run on modern Windows and the patches are mostly situational. Below is an installation method tested to work on Windows 11.

1. Download the Fixed RIP Version on this page and unzip the file to any folder.
2. Navigate to the game folder and run PatchInstall.bat.
3. Now you may play the game using Fifartwc.exe. No need for other patches or changes in the compatibility settings.
