Developed by Intelligent Games, Lego Loco is a virtual world and simulation game released back in 1998. The gameplay is a simple open-ended construction with a heavy emphasis on rail transport - due to the rise in popularity of Lego trains during the time of its release. The game's goal is to create a town in which all the Lego Minifigures can live and prosper. The player can do this by using the Lego toy box and creating a town with the given pieces. Once the box is closed, all the lego pieces will come to life and live in the newly-created town. The player can open the box anytime and make changes to the town as well as pick up the Lego minifigures and place them someplace else.

How to Install Lego Loco on Windows 10/11

1. Download the ISO Version of the game on this page.
2. Download and install WinCDEmu or another similar third-party app.
3. Unzip the ISO version compressed file and mount Lego Loco.iso to a virtual drive
4. Install the game AutoRun or download the Fixed Installer on this page and use it.
5. Once the game is installed, go to the game's directory and navigate your way to the Exe folder.
6. Right-click and open the properties of loco.exe.
7. Head over to the "Compatibility" tab, and check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and set it to "Windows XP Service Pack 2".
8. Check "Reduced Color Mode" and set it to "16-bit (65536) color".
9. Check "Run this program as an administrator", then press "Apply", then "Ok" to save the settings and close the window.
10. Play the game using loco.exe.
11. Unfortunately, the game is hard-coded to run on low resolutions. The user must change the desktop's screen resolution to 1280x1024, or any resolution recommended by the game, to play.
