Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion

Create the ultimate deck together with Yugi's best friend, Joey Wheeler in this fun trading card game. Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion is the third and last game of the Power of Chaos series. The game features a total of 771 cards including all 466 cards that were introduced on the previous two titles.

The game features urban-themed menus and fields, as well as new dueling choices and options including a ranked difficulty. Although the game's main protagonist is the least popular among the three (as compared to Yugi and Kaiba), the game has the most content in the Power of Chaos series. On top of the other features, Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion features a multiplayer mode where you can duel a friend via LAN or Gameranger.

Undocumented Shortcut Parameters

The game has a series of shortcut parameters that can alter the application's behavior. These parameters are undocumented and case-sensitive. To use these parameters, simply add the codes after the program path in the "Target" box.

• -Lspa  - Changes the game texts to Spanish.
• -Lita - Changes the game texts to Italian.
• -Lfra - Changes the game texts to French.
• -Lger - Changes the game texts to German.
• -Leng - Changes the game texts to English.
• -Ljpn - Changes the game texts to Japanese.
• -fps - Adds an FPS counter to the top left corner of the screen.
• -speedy - Speeds up almost all animations.
• -e - Uses software emulation for rendering.
• -h - Uses hardware rendering.
• -nosound - mutes the game.
• -win - Forces the game to run in Windows mode.
• -16 - Runs the game in full screen, 16-bit color mode.
• -24 - Runs the game in full screen, 24-bit color mode.
• -32 - Runs the game in full screen, 32-bit color mode.

As an example, if you want to run the game in full screen with 32-bit color mode with faster animation and FPS tracker then you'll need to add "-32 -speedy -fps" on the shortcut's target box. (i.e. "C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos JOEY THE PASSION\joey_pc.exe"-fps -32 -speedy") Adding quotation marks are sometimes necessary for Windows to handle spaces in between the codes.
