Developed by Bizarre Creations and released back in May 2010, Blur is a vehicular combat racing game with arcade-style pacing and competitive multiplayer. The game features the ability to blast other cars using a variety of weapons and traps, and an awesome realistic vehicle damage and destruction. On top of the adrenaline-pumping races, the game features a unique and innovative community-based interface that tells the game's story. 

The game's career mode features numerous characters and licensed cars ranging from Dodge Vipers and Volkswagen Beetles, to customized Ford Transit vans equipped with powerful F1 engines. In addition to the standard races, there are various bosses in the game. Each boss comes with their own stage that offers its own challenge that the player must overcome.

How to play Blur on Windows 10/11

For ISO Version

1. Download the chosen ISO Version on this page.
2. Extract the zip file and mount the .iso file to a virtual drive with WinCDEmu or other similar apps. 
3. On the virtual drive, install the game with the provided installer and follow the installation procedures.
4. Once the game is installed, download and apply Patch v1.2 to get the latest fixes and updates.
5. Download the No-CD Patch for v1.2 from this page and extract Blur.exe file into your game's directory -replacing the original file.
6. Right-click Blur.exe and go to "Properties". Head over to the "Compatibility" tab and check "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 7" and "Run as administrator". Press "Apply", then "OK" to close the properties window.
7. Now you can launch and play the game even without mounting the virtual CD drive.

For Repack Version

1. Download the chosen Repack Version on this page.
2. Extract the zip file and mount the .iso file to a virtual drive with WinCDEmu or other similar apps. 
3. Launch Setup.exe, and install the game. Repack versions already include all available patches.
4. Right-click Blur.exe and go to "Properties". Head over to the "Compatibility" tab and check "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 7" and "Run as administrator". Press "Apply", then "OK" to close the properties window.
5. Now you can launch and play the game even without mounting the virtual CD drive.

Troubleshooting:

To properly run the game, it is highly recommended to install PhysX drivers. A PhysX driver installer is included in both the DVD and the repack versions of the game. Make sure that DirectPlay is enabled on your Windows OS before playing.
