The popular collectible card game finally made it into the world of video games! Enjoy the classic TCG set on the fictional plane of Shandalar with Magic: The Gathering. With the ManaLink update, you can duel against your friend on one of its multiplayer modes and prove your higher existence complete with bragging rights.

Magic: The Gathering, commonly referred to as Shandalar by its players, is a fantastic strategy card game with several game modes: a lengthy single-player campaign, duel mode, and tournament mode. The single-player mode tasks the player with defeating five wizards representing the five primary colors/ elements. The goal of the game is to prevent any one color from gaining too much power and defeat the challenging planeswalker named Arzakon - who happens to gain the power of all five colors and utilized all of their properties into building a powerful deck.

MTG features role-playing and adventure elements complete with an inventory system, dungeons, random battles, and character progression/ improvements. Practice building decks, and overcome various situations and challenges as you go on a journey through Shandalar and participate in a large-scale quest.

Overall, Magic: The Gathering is a good game, and with the Manalink Update, it can easily become one of the greatest classics. The lack of a multiplayer mode of the original 1997 MTG was made obsolete with its updates - making this title a good place to start if you're new to the franchise.
