Mount & Blade is an action strategy role-playing game that features free-form sandbox gameplay that gives the player a revolutionary amount of freedom. Set in the fictional medieval land of Calradia, the player can create his own character background and story. The player can almost do anything from roaming around aimlessly to joining an existing faction from the great powerhouses and helping the leaders dominate the land. The game also allows the player to become an outlaw and be hated by every other faction.

Unlike many games that give out a free demo with features that are limited, Mount&Blade v1.0.11 is a full game with no locked features. However, unless you have a game license, your character will have a level limit of 7. You can still continue the game as is, but your character won't level past the level limit. As soon as you buy the game and obtain the serial key, the level limit will be removed, and you won't need to download the game again.
