Nox is an excellent action role-playing isometric game hybrid known for its innovative and unique gameplay. In this game, you play the role of a 20th-century dude who got sucked into a magical world via his TV set. The game features three starting classes; Warrior, Wizard, and Conjurer. Each class is equipped with its unique items, and abilities, and has its different game styles. The Warrior class is a melee-oriented fighter that can equip battleaxes, swords, and war hammers. Wizards can dish out extremely powerful spells from afar, while Conjurers can magically charm and summon creatures to do their bidding. The game's storyline is also separated for each class - so the game has a really good replayability factor which contributed to its success.

The game is accompanied by beautiful music pieces, great humor, a huge variety of equipment and spells, a gameplay that uses a true line-of-sight, and a fun physics engine - making it one of the most-hyped games of its time.
