Developed by Cellar Door Games, Rogue Legacy is a genealogical rogue-"lite" game that features a unique "random" character creation that lets you continue your adventures using the child of your previous characters. However, every child and character is unique as they possess their own set of strengths and weaknesses including random illnesses like being colorblind, having vertigo, being flatulent, and more. Gameplay is in the veins of Metroidvania and features dozens of levels, items, equipment, and enemies. 

Dying is a part of the game, and each time you die, your child will carry on your will and explore further for the glory of your family and legacy. Fortunately, your gold and fortune will remain so you can jumpstart your kid's future by amassing gold for them to use in case you die, which you will - a lot.
