How to Install Sonic R on Windows

Sonic R is a classic game that doesn't work well on modern systems. As such, you'll need the latest Sonic R Updater to update and make it compatible with modern Windows OS including Windows 10 and 11. You can install the game using the RIP version or the ISO version. However, we recommend using the RIP version instead.

1. Download the RIP version and extract the file to any folder.
2. Download Sonic R Updater in order to play on modern Windows.
3. Open Sonic.R.Updater.1.0.10.exe and choose the folder where you've extracted the RIP version to update the game.
4. Once the game is updated, launch the game using SonicR.exe located on the game's installation folder.

Alternatively, you can just download our Sonic R Updated RIP version for more convenience. Extract the file to your folder of choice, and start playing using SonicR.exe.
