The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is the third installment of the legendary role-playing game series, The Elder Scrolls, developed by Bethesda. This game introduced players to the land of Vvardenfell. Compared to the previous titles, Morrowind features an unparalleled sense of exploration in its vast open-world setting. Every inch of the map brims with hidden treasures, dark secrets, diverse landscapes, and captivating sceneries. 

TESIII features a beautiful world filled with unique architecture, diverse ecosystems, and a distinctive atmosphere that made the game stand out more from other fantasy games during its time. The game brings about a very immersive experience and freedom that is even rare by today's standards. The game includes many side quests and storylines, but the central plot revolves around the god-like beings the rule of Morrowind called the Tribunal and their fight against their former ally demigod Dagoth Ur and all his evil cult followers.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition which was released on April 2022 includes the original base game Morrowind, and all added content from the Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansions. An ongoing unofficial recreation of the game engine called OpenMW is available for free and features a better overall experience, HD and widescreen support, and modern OS compatibility than the original game engine, but you still need to purchase the base game for its assets. Morrowind is considered by many as one of the best role-playing games in history.
