The Happyhills Homicide is a stealth-based horror game where you are the killer. The game features creepy 2D pixel-based graphics which are heavily influenced by 80s slasher movies. In every stage of the game, your goal is to kill your target without getting seen as the element of surprise is crucial. Later on, you will be required to kill a large number of opponents, even those that are armed and out to get you. The game isn't long as you can play the entire game in an hour. However, the game has unsettling soundtracks and lots of dark humor that are hard to forget.

Although the game features charming pixel art and bright cartoon graphics, it has incredibly brutal and horrible kill moves, and violent scenes that are not suitable for young audiences.
