The House of the Dead III

HOTD3 departs from the previous games in many ways as it features new weaponry, new gameplay mechanics, a branching storyline that is handled very differently, and many more.

The House of the Dead III continues the story of the previous games and introduces a new protagonist, Lisa Rogan. The game also features many changes including the default gun which is now a shotgun rather than a semi-auto pistol. HOTD3 also has a different reloading mechanic and lacks civilians who need to be rescued on the road. Instead, the game features little scenarios and skirmishes called "Rescue Events" where the player must save his/her partner in peril and earn an extra life as a reward. If all the rescue events are successful, a bunch of creates containing lots of bonuses will spawn right before the final boss - making the final battle a little bit easier.

The game features four different endings depending on the score ranking, the path taken by the player, and the order in which the areas are cleared. Will you be able to defeat the final boss and unlock all four endings? 

Installation Instructions

1. Download the game's ISO version to your PC, and unzip the file to any folder.
2. Download and install WinCDEmu, or any similar application.
3. Run WinCDEmu-4.1.exe, and mount HOD3.mdf that's located inside the "House_of_Dead_3_ISO" folder.
4. Install the game with the installer found in the mounted virtual drive.
5. Download the No CD patch, and unzip it inside the game folder (where the game was installed) - replacing the existing file.
6. Run the game using the new hod3pc.exe.
